Nino D’Amico – Golden Guitar 2021 at the International Guitar Meeting in Milano as revelation of the year – began the study of classical guitar with Marco Caiazza continuing then at the San Pietro a Majella Music Conservatory in Naples; meanwhile he followed the guitar seminars with Frédéric Zigante and Antonio Rugolo at the Civic School of Castellaneta.

Achieved in 2019 the First Level Academic Diploma with full marks and honors, he awaits a guitar advanced course – with the award of a scholarship as the best student – at the Stefano Strata Academy in Pisa, with Maestro Aniello Desiderio, who it also leads him to the achievement of the final title of the Master Degree at the Domenico Cimarosa Conservatory of Music in Avellino in the current year (110 cum laude and mention).

Currently he attends the Postgraduate Master Degree course at the Domenico Cimarosa Conservatory of Avellino.

He receives the investiture of EuroStrings Artist for the 2019/2020 academic year and participates in various masterclasses, including those with A. Desiderio, L. Matarazzo, P. Pegoraro and Z. Dukic.

Nino is also the winner of more than forty International and European guitar competitions including those held in Uppsala, Pleven, Plovdiv, Peja, Romania, China, Hungary, and many others in Italy.

In 2021, in addition to winning the final StrataMaster Competition, he also released his first CD, entirely dedicated to the composer and musician Agustín Barrios Mangoré (Agustín Barrios: Works) for the DotGuitat/CD Label.

In 2022 Nino was awarded the prestigious title of D’Addario Strings Artist.

Nino is currently continuing his studies with Aniello Desiderio and Lucio Matarazzo.
